Editorial Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This Editorial Policy explains how Yetmos writes, reviews, funds and corrects the recipes it publishes.
Recipe Review
Before publication, every Yetmos recipe is reviewed by an editor for: complete and consistent ingredient lists with US measurements, logical order of steps, realistic prep and cook times, pan and oven specifications, food-safe internal temperatures, and clear descriptions of what “done” looks like. Recipes that fail the review are rewritten before they go live.
Tools We Use
Our editorial team uses software tools, including AI-assisted tools, to help draft, standardize and proofread recipe text and to estimate nutrition values. People review and approve what is published. We do not publish a recipe that no editor has checked.
Editorial Independence
Advertisers and partners have no role in choosing, writing or reviewing recipes. If sponsored content ever appears, it will be clearly labeled “Sponsored” at the top of the page.
Affiliate Links
We do not currently use affiliate links. If that changes, links will be marked near the link, and we will never recommend a product because of a commission.
Corrections
When a reader reports an error, we review the step, correct the recipe and note the update date on the page. Report errors through the contact page.
Sources and Credit
Recipes inspired by a classic dish or technique are written in our own words. Ingredient lists are not copyrightable, but we do not copy another publisher’s instructions or images. If you believe content on Yetmos infringes your rights, contact us and we will respond promptly.
Images
Images are original stylized illustrations, not photographs. They illustrate the dish and are not a promise of how your result will look.
