Yetmos (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use yetmos.com, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to run the site and answer you:
- Information you send us. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, the topic and message you write, and any recipe name you include.
- Technical data collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and our analytics and advertising partners receive your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, referring page and approximate location derived from the IP address. Some of this is collected using cookies, described in our Cookie Policy.
- Information stored on your device. The ingredient checkboxes on recipe pages work in your browser and are not sent to us.
We do not require an account, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.
How We Use Your Information
- To read and answer your messages, and to correct recipes you report
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse (for example, our contact form uses a hidden spam trap and rate limits)
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To measure the performance of our advertising, including ads on Google, and to show relevant ads
- To comply with legal obligations
Advertising and Analytics
We advertise our website through Google Ads and may use Google’s advertising and measurement technologies, such as the Google tag, conversion tracking and audience features. These tools use cookies and similar identifiers to recognize that a visit came from an ad, to measure conversions and, if enabled, to show you our ads on other sites. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with: (a) service providers that help us run the site, such as hosting, email and security providers; (b) advertising and analytics partners, as described above; and (c) authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect rights, safety and the integrity of the site. If the business is ever sold or reorganized, information may transfer to the new owner under the same protections.
How Long We Keep It
We keep messages for as long as needed to answer you and handle any follow-up, and generally delete them within 24 months. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and then deleted or anonymized. Data held by Google and other partners is governed by their policies.
Your Choices and US Privacy Rights
You can control cookies in your browser and opt out of personalized advertising as explained in our Cookie Policy. Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access, correct or delete it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

You may opt out of advertising cookies at any time using the tools in the Cookie Policy. We honor browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where required by law.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children’s Privacy
Yetmos is a general-audience cooking site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Sites
Recipes may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed, and material changes will be noted on this page.
