Overnight Oats with Berries

Five minutes tonight, a cold creamy breakfast tomorrow. Make four jars on Sunday and breakfast is done until Thursday.

Ingredients

Tick them off as you go. Quantities are for 2 servings.

Method

  1. MixStir the oats, milk, yogurt, chia, maple syrup, vanilla and salt together in a bowl.

  2. JarDivide between two jars with lids. Press half the berries into the mixture.

  3. ChillRefrigerate at least 6 hours, or overnight.

  4. ServeStir, loosen with a splash of milk if needed, and top with the remaining berries.

Editor’s tip. Old-fashioned oats give the best texture. Instant oats turn to paste; steel-cut stay too chewy.
